finally, tomorrow is the last day of the elective program at geriatric center here.report pun dah siap and dah hantar, alhamdulillah.. everything went well and i learned a lot from the center. the staffs were very nice to me and they made me comfortable there.. eventhough i’m the only muslim woman there, they accepted me well and willingly thought me all the important things regarding the elderly care.

i really enjoy my stay here.. and i wish that i can stay longer, however, i still have another year to go for achieving the goal of being a good muslimah doctor insya Allah.

there was one staff in the geriatric center whom i always work together with, but last week she quit her job there because she got a better offer at other place. on her last day, she gave me a lovely card and a present.. i was so touched when i read it.. she said,

” the gift enclosed was something i had given to my grandmother many years ago. upon her passing it was given back to me. i am passing it on to you, you have many of the qualities in your character that my grandmother also had, faith, the joy of knowledge and learning, humility and humbleness. she lived to be in her 90s. i hope you too have many happy and healthy years and that when you look at this gift you will remember me, as i will always hold you in a special place in my heart and i will think of you often. i am so glad that our paths have crossed for this short time. you are a very sweet person. i wish you only the very best as you continue on your journey, until we meet again, may your life be filled with love, peace and happiness!”

she is a very nice person and full of jokes.. she gave me a brooch with purple stone which is so lovely. i really hope we can meet again in future..

sekarang ni spring so byk la tulips yg bloom.. org first time nampak tulips cam jakun la jugak tangkap gambar byk2, rupanya tulips ni ada mcm2 colour, and org tanam dia depan rumah, tepi jalan sebagai bunga hiasan..

dah lama tak update blog ni sbb tak berkesempatan, hari-hari pergi tempat elective dr pkul 8 till 4pm.. balik lepak2, masak dinner, makan.. pastu dah penat, tido awal sbb subuh kat sini awal pkul 4 lebih pagi. so just nak share gambar nursing home for elderly tempat liya buat elective..

alhamdulillah, setakat ni byk yg liya dapat belajar kat geriatric center tu, hopefully in another 4 weeks boleh dapat lebih byk lagik.. sekarang tgh in progress buat report.. baru sedar rupenya byk nak kene buat, summary 10 cases then discussion lagik, introduction lagi.. kene buat cepat2 sbb nanti susah nak pegi jalan kalau report tak siap..
